Why?!

Why did I start writing this blog?

Good question!  We already have a blog about our travels on Moxie, our 48 foot catamaran (http://blog.mailasail.com/moxie).  My husband writes it, and he is very good.   I’m no writer, and hate to do so, just ask my friends the last time they received an email from me.   I just wanted somewhere I could post my achievements.  The problem with living on a boat, far away from friends and family is, you can’t whip out your latest creation and show it off.  Don’t get me wrong, we met loads of people on our travels, but mostly briefly and, not into creating the way I am.  So bringing out my latest work of art, I feel, would be a little weird. Also, I take a lot of photos that don’t always end up on our blog.  Some of them I feel are quite good, and would like to share them.  So that’s why I have decided to put this blog together.  The other advantage is, it makes me write, maybe I’ll learn to like it.  Actually, I only started this blog because I was looking for a Soda Bread recipe and stumbled across the Londoner blog.  She had a nice little recipe that I am yet to try, but, she also got me thinking.  So thank you Rosie, you have started something.
